Republican Proposals Attack Public Employees

Leadership from SEIU Local 517M met earlier this week to discuss our anger and deep concerns over the recently introduced Republican anti-public employee ballot proposals introduced by GOP Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop. (Read proposals below) Our union has notified members of the Michigan Legislature that SEIU will take all possible measures to defeat these attacks on our hard-working and deeply dedicated public employee members. This type of open attack on public services should be an outrage to all working people across Michigan.
