Workers at New Passages Gain a Voice on the Job by Joining SEIU

We are extremely pleased to announce that our great Organizing Team has just scored another victory on behalf of workers. The NLRB counted the ballots on Tuesday, February 6th at for our "New Passages" campaign and the final vote was 161 YES to 88 NO. Almost 56% of the 445 eligible employees cast ballots.

We should all take a moment to celebrate and then get about the task of meeting the members, organizing internal committees, and preparing for a tough contract campaign. These workers have voted for a strong voice and we need to do everything possible to assist them in this effort.
