Economic and Non-Economic Provisions
SEIU Local 517M and Office of the State Employer
October 19, 2007

The parties agree to the following as a complete and voluntary agreement resolving all economic and non-economic provisions of the collective bargaining agreements covering employees in the Scientific and Engineering, Technical and Human Services Support units represented by SEIU Local 517M:

For all three units:

Wages
FY 2008-2009: the wage rate in effect on 09/30/08 will remain in effect
FY 2009-2010: 1% increase
FY 2010-2011: 3% increase

SHP PPO
Effective 10/01/08:

- Premium 10% employee paid
- $15 office visit co-pay effective 10/01/08
- $50 emergency room co-pay if not admitted

Effective 01/01/09:
In-network deductible $300 individual / $600 family; out-of-network deductible $600 / $1200

SHP PPO Prescription Drugs
Effective 10/01/08:

- Co-pay at retail $10 generics/$20 preferred brand/$40 non-preferred brand
- Co-pay at mail order $20 generics/$40 preferred brand/$80 non-preferred brand (3 month supply)
Generics Preferred, Drug Quantity Management, and Step Therapy clinical programs


        HMO
        Effective 10/01/08: Premium 95% employer paid up to the amount paid for the same coverage
        code under the SHP PPO

        Travel
        Reimbursement for all meals based upon receipts up to the maximum allowed effective 01/01/08

        Overtime
        Sick leave hours will not be considered hours of work time for purposes of calculating overtime compensation or compensatory time

        Contracting Committee
        Joint committee established for the purpose of reviewing the contracting out of services including CS-138’s.

        Legislative Pay Wage Re-opener
        If during the term of the Agreement the Michigan Legislature authorizes a pay increase for its elected members, the authorization will trigger a wage re-opener for the year or years that the increase was effective. Expires September 30, 2011.
